Vision Screenings
We believe every child deserves a fair chance to learn, grow, and dream. Through school screenings, outreach camps, and mobile eye care, EFA has reached millions of children and families in villages, towns, and underserved communities.
Eyeglasses for Children
A simple pair of glasses can change a child’s future. Thousands of children identified with refractive errors through our school screenings have been given corrective spectacles—unlocking their potential in classrooms and beyond.
Life-changing Surgeries
From cataracts to complex pediatric conditions, EFA has delivered over 370,000 sight-restoring surgeries—including more than 30,000 for children. Every surgery is a story of hope: a student returning to school, a parent regaining independence, a community finding new strength.
Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP)
Premature babies are at high risk of blindness from ROP. Our flagship program trains doctors, establishes ROP centers, and provides life-saving screening and treatment. With a bold vision, EFA is working to ensure that no baby goes blind for want of timely care.
Hospitals & Partnerships
Through hospitals like Goutami Eye Institute, and partnerships in 31 countries, EFA is creating sustainable models of eye care that blend advanced technology with compassion.
